Mosquito Control Trucks Roll Through North Reading Tuesday Night
East Middlesex Mosquito Control is conducting truck-mounted aerosol spraying in North Reading on Tuesday, June 23, while road work that began Sunday night on Route 62 continues to affect travel on Elm Street.
TOWN HALL
Residents waking up Tuesday should expect mosquito-control trucks in their neighborhoods: the East Middlesex Mosquito Control district has scheduled truck-mounted aerosol treatment for June 23. Spraying typically takes place after dusk; residents who wish to limit exposure are advised to stay indoors during treatment and bring pets inside.
Separately, road work on Route 62 (Elm Street) that launched Sunday night, June 21, is underway. The town's homepage advisory asks drivers to expect disruptions along that corridor; no end date was listed in the posted notice.
COMING UP
Two Board of Health virtual meetings are on the calendar — one Wednesday, June 24, and a second Thursday, June 25. The Select Board holds a virtual meeting Thursday, June 25, as well. The By-Law Review Committee also meets virtually on Wednesday, June 24. Check the town calendar at northreadingma.gov for call-in or link details as they are posted.
